is?bU1lbJAaq9PiOAQa3keQ8tQnf9bm5mMTWFu87C3O7ac&height=214Early this year, I devoted Four weeks getting about the Canarian archipelago. A very outstanding experience, a lot of experience to be enjoyed, countless spotless shores to uncover, waking up in unique dreamy destination daily. So amazing, but this needs a large amount of scheduling and organization! It isn’t all arranged for you. You make your very own journey and then arrange your personal journey! Thankfully the Canarian archipelago is not that large that people could be lost there easily. My favourite in all was The island of lanzarote. It’s a enchanting little destination with extraordinary people. It's their very own style of doing things as the rest of the islands have. You are able to forget the world if you are here. The island is so unique distant and lonesome to live on. You can get an incredible holiday break there with all the water fun and then excursions within the island. I hoped to share some things that we got en route that can help with the planning and just generally being a traveller. Some are easy, but when you feel like a thousand miles away from home, you can’t find any wi-fi and you’ve got barely some money with you, little tips may feel lifesavers! On Lanzarote the sole thing you will need is going to be sunscreen to bear the sizzling sunlight. The weather is usually sunny so when it rains the life goes to a halt there. People stay at home close the doorway and panes and waiting for the rain to go.
Lanzarote island is a breezy destination. You will first notice this when your plane gets ready for landing. The north of the island is usually a little more windy versus the south. If you can’t bear the sand inside your sandals and view make sure you get closer to the south. Puerto del carmen is a warm and sunny resort any time of the year to have fun with bars and eateries to go out.
Playa blanca is also a lovely location for all of the people featuring its impressive scenery and relaxed atmosphere. It’s the favorite place for the families and folks looking for a more slow paced getaway. The island primarily and greatest jazz pub the Blue Note is likewise based here which says a lot about the folks that visit here as well.
Costa Teguise is the breeziest them all and windsurfers like that an awful lot. If you aren’t into jazz music or enormous celebrations then this is certainly your resort to be on a getaway. There are resort hotels, rentals, pubs and eating places of any kind to pass your time after having a hard day at the swimming pool.
If you are more into cafes than hiking beneath the scorching sunshine then you might call for some money as well. Resorts are generally economical so are the foodstuff as well as the alcoholic beverages in the cafes. Many resorts are full board that makes life much simpler in case you are not down into preparing your own personal food or looking for eateries day-to-day to enjoy a regular dish. Mind that many shops won’t admit credit cards under a certain quantity so having money in The island of lanzarote is truly a life saver.

Weather in Lanzarote
Lanzarote's climate officially is desert climate. Meaning the island experiences less than 250 mm / 10 inches of precipitation per year.
These conditions would easily ruin our fine holiday island if it were not be the Atlantic Ocean. It is lovely cooling / heating effect keeps the temperature around 25C /77F in summer and 17C / 63F during the cold winter months.
As a result, there is no heating in the flats around the island save the mobile radiators. Which are swarming all the shops around November suggesting the new ice age is coming. A warm blanket and a cup of hot tea during these stressing days usually does the job though.

Calima
There is no rain to be afraid of but there is a menace to ruin your mood during the summer months. The Calima or Sirocco (not the Volkswagen one). It is called many different names but it is just the same Sandstorm.
It is a very exciting phenomenon. It is just plain very fine sand from the Sahara desert sweeping out to the Atlantic by the wind. You can see it coming over the ocean as a curtain days before it arrives. Meteo-sensitive people do not need to look over the ocean to sense it coming though.
When it arrives, the island gets a yellowish hue due to the sun shining through the sand. The visibility is reduced, cars are full of dust, our throat is soaring for drinks. Before its peak-time, the wind stops and leaves you sweat and sticky forcing you to hide in pubs and shopping malls. Then the wind starts again giving us hope to get our sweet island back only to blow hot air like a hairdryer.
Beside the Calima and the occasional rain which floods the capital every now and then the weather in Lanzarote is perfect to enjoy life all year around mostly in shorts and flip-flops.
